HISTORY
Worldwide
Videoconferencing Corp. (WWVC), formed in
1989, is AT&T/Sprint's public room rental videoconference
center in downtown Miami, representing world-leading
videoconference equipment manufacturers.
WWVC provides the South Florida business
community and national corporations with total
videoconference solutions, including connectivity

WWVC founded the first videoconferencing
network in the U.S. geared to the needs of the
legal profession. In the early '90s, it expanded
its client base to the business, financial,
and health care communities.
President H. Allen Benowitz has been published
and featured in numerous articles, is a consultant
and lecturer, including a recent conference
at Florida International University regarding
telemedicine.
Of
70 companies nominated, WWVC was honored as
a finalist in 2000, and nominated again for
2001, for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's
Annual Cutting Edge Award. For the last two
years, it was also listed in The Business Journal's
"Top 40" of the fastest growing technology companies
in Florida, and ranked 10th in the Top 25 of

High-Tech Firms" in the Miami Daily Business
Review. Miami Business Magazine featured Benowitz
and the company in a story published in its
March 2000 issue. He has appeared on WLRN public
television, "You Should Know" and "The Business
Exchange," which aired in February, May and
August 2000 in South Florida.

VIDEOCONFERENCE
SUMMARY
H. Allen Benowitz is president of WORLDWIDE
VIDEOCONFERENCING (WWVC), and its AT&T/Sprint
public room rental videoconference center is
located at 19 West Flagler Street, Suite 1020,
in downtown Miami, Florida, with access to hundreds
of videoconferencing facilities throughout the
U.S. and over 6,000 worldwide.
The
firm has been serving South Florida's business,
legal and medical communities for the past ten
years and has established itself as a leading
source for the latest information on videoconference
business applications worldwide.
WWVC
specializes in videoconference network design,
equipment sales, consultations, and project
management services, and is a co-marketing partner
with several recognized telecommunications companies,
including Sprint, AT&T, Hughes Training/Raytheon,
Net2000 (formerly FreBon), Stratosphere, VTEL
Corp., PictureTel, Sony, Tandberg, and Polycom.
Videoconference systems use state-of-the-art
fiber optic technology and are available for
purchase. Sizes range from large room systems,
medium group units to desktop and desktop conversion
kits.
The
historical barriers to videoconferencing equipment
investment are dropping away - price is down,
ease-of-use is up, room requirements are simpler,
bandwidth costs are down, and the equipment
quality is better. So, as videoconference equipment
reaches new heights in power, flexibility, and
cost-effectiveness, more companies are incorporating
this technology for business communications
and travel aversion.
The
impact of videoconferencing as a
cost-effective alternative to business travel
is phenomenal - saving companies time, money,
and effort while increasing productivity. Use
of WWVC's videoconference public room increased
400% from 1997 until the current period.
By offering companies both videoconference room
rental and equipment sales/consultation, WWVC
provides the South Florida community and national
corporations with total videoconference solutions.
